Still frame from the "Dry Ice Esthetic Machine Demonstration Video" in which an esthetician and two Japanese models demonstrate how to use the dry ice esthetic machine on late-night Japanese TV in 1994. At that time, in Japan it was really believed that freezing the skin was a good way to preserve beauty and esthetics.

"Looking for a bartender who won't drink up all the brews and slack off when you need him? Japan's Asahi Breweries has the answer: the company's robot bartender can open a can of beer and pour it into a glass, guaranteeing a perfect head each time. And the bot's body is a fridge that holds a six pack. As part of a promotion, Asahi is giving away 5,000 of the bots. Unfortunately, it's a Japan-only deal, so if you want a robot bartender of your own, you'll either have to hop on a plane, or see if you can hire the Motoman RoboBar, who we hear is looking for some work just about now."
I MUST HAVE ONE OF THESE NOW!!!
Here a video of Japanese professional wrestling girls “training” at the Chichibu ice falls in Saitama prefecture.NikkanSports.com: Running time: 4 minutes 14 seconds, Real Player format
The NikkanSports story in Japanese very roughly reads in translation…
Scaling a mountain an hour and standing in the icy cascade for “training,” then the girls had to hike 40 minutes cold and wet when they were done. This is what Japanese like to called “gaining spirit” of both the mind and body which is thought to be good for the wrestling girls. The Japanese article says that the experience made, “bonding among the wrestlers firm” and that the girls, “rejoiced the effect of asceticism.”
